Tutor Feedback (11/2/15)

MTG: Distinction* - Distinction

Pass: E <- Currently on
Merit: C+
Distinction: A

What I need to do:
- Input more in to the product/idea.
- Edit what we currently have i.e. Create the product to create a narrative.
- Film less content and put together what we currently have.
- What is our genre?
- Watch film trailers. 

What worked:
- The editing worked early on the trailer.
- Use of cinematography i.e. shot-reverse-shot, over the shoulder shot

What needs to be done:
- Adjust the film to be a more specific genre - Considering that we currently don't have a specified genre
- To adjust our film to have a clear narrative but keeping it in a non-linear fashion.
- Don't aim to create a short film, aim to create a trailer.

Lesson Objective (9/2/15)

Today I will be:
- Continuing to do the storyboards and updating my blog.
- Add evidence to what I have done so far i.e. Storyboard scan
- Tutor Feedback to add to the blog

Lesson Review (LO2/LO4) (6/4/15)

Today I have:
- Continued with the storyboards and used the edit log to improve it.
- I have also created a edit log with the footage taken prior to this.
- I will finish off the rest of the storyboard with the final footage we will be taking by next week. The scenes that will be filmed will be the dialogue scenes and we will also be recording the audio to dub over the original that didn't have a great sound quality.

Lesson Objective (6/2/15)

Today I will be:
- Creating the edit log for the new footage that was taken prior to this (4/2/15).
- I could/will use the edit log to help improve the storyboard description/information.
- I will also continue to update my blog before half-term.

What evidence is needed to complete the blog

Things which still need to be evidenced on our groups blogs are:


  • Photographs and short videos of setting up equipment, using and following script/storyboard, recce forms and risk assessment when filming.
  • Shot logs for all footage which we have filmed.
  • Edit log for all of the footage which we have edited.
  • Evidence of what each member of the group has contributed in the editing stages (screen grabs/vine videos)
  • Second detailed treatment. The second idea which we developed as our Contingency Treatment
  • Tutor witness statements

- Added more to the storyboard and added the new scene.
- Added the details to each of the scenes.
